Challenger has in the past provided land disposition mapping on crown lands in Alberta as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Providing easy digital access to data about how public lands are used has numerous benefits to provincial governments and stakeholders, making it easier to plan and coordinate policy and future land-use activities.
In the fall of 2011, Challenger developed a set of maps covering the province of Alberta to clearly identify the affected land use zones, recreation areas and trails of the updated Public Lands Administration Regulation.
Large data sets were required and integrated mapping frameworks were implemented to ensure mapping products served the needs of all the government agencies involved.
Challenger continues to collaborate with our government partners on various projects with provincial and territorial agencies.
