New Vice President of Alberta Operations: Michael Lee
We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of our Vice President of Edmonton Operations, Michael Lee, to the position of Vice President of Alberta Operations. With a remarkable track record of driving operational efficiency and a deep understanding of our company’s core values, Mike is poised to lead our Alberta operations to greater success. In his new role, Mike will oversee all operational functions, ensuring that our company continues to deliver exceptional value to our customers throughout Alberta while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
New Vice President of Innovation : Michael Fretwell
Innovation is the lifeblood of our industry, and we are committed to staying ahead of the curve. To spearhead our innovation efforts, we are excited to appoint Michael Fretwell, as our new Vice President of Innovation. Mike has consistently demonstrated a passion for forward-thinking solutions and a keen ability to identify emerging trends. His leadership will be crucial in driving our innovation strategy, fostering a culture of creativity, and bringing groundbreaking products and services to the geomatics industry. With Mike at the helm, we are confident that our company will continue to lead the industry in innovation and technological advancements.
New General Manager of Edmonton: Lara Suriyakumaran
In line with our commitment to nurturing talent from within, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Lara Suriyakumaran. Lara has been a cornerstone of our company for 24 years. She has worn multiple hats with Challenger, starting in our Drafting department, then moving on to Resource Manager, Project Manager, and Director (serving on the board of directors of Challenger). Lara has been in this position for a couple of months and is already doing an incredible job.
New General Manager of Calgary: Richard Deis
Richard’s career is marked by a series of significant achievements, with a wealth of experience. He has worked on a wide range of projects throughout his time at Challenger, including large scale urban construction sites, complex infrastructure surveys in remote areas, and comprehensive planning and development support for the Oil and Gas Industry. Richard has demonstrated outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to our company’s success. As General Manager, he will bring their unique insights and expertise to guide his team towards achieving our ambitious goals. Richard also serves as Director on Challenger’s board of directors.
