Sub-Arctic Geomatics

Sub-Arctic has been a leading, professional survey firm in Yellowknife since 1992 and has a seasonal field office in Iqaluit. In 2018, Sub-Arctic joined forces with Challenger. This positions Challenger / Sub-Arctic as the surveyor of choice for land surveying, mapping and geomatics services across Canada’s North.

Challenger Geomatics and Sub-Arctic have developed several joint ventures and indigenous partnerships in the Northwest Territories, forming Inukshuk and Sahtu Geomatics, which are jointly owned with Inuvialuit Development Corporation and Mackay Range Development Corporation respectively. We recently created a new indigenous-owned company called Det’on Cho Challenger alongside Det’on Cho Management LP which will proudly serve the Akaitcho Territory.
